Tapestry Rewoven is the brainchild of Laurie Krauz and the arranging genius of Daryl Kojak. A thrilling jazz, blues, R&B-infused re-imagining of the Carole King classic, the group’s interpretations of the iconic original have been heralded for being fresh, new and musically inventive— while still being reverent to the brilliance of the original.
Tapestry Rewoven premiered live in New York City in August 2008 and in 2009 enjoyed performances to standing ovations at Iridium Jazz Club in NYC as well as at the world-renowned BB King Blues Club in Times Square. Outside of New York the show toured to Los Angeles and Chicago – again, to standing ovations.
